Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: May 14, 2026

Welcome to AET Tri & The Earth Ark Mission (TEAM). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website, digital platforms, online events, courses, and community spaces (collectively, the "Services") provided by AET Tri & The Earth Ark Mission (TEAM), ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Code of Conduct.

1. Eligibility & Access

  • Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to use these Services. Use by individuals under 13 is strictly prohibited under COPPA.

  • Personal Use: Access to digital events or courses is granted only to the registered individual and may not be shared or transferred.

2. Donations & Contributions

  • Voluntary Nature: All financial contributions are voluntary donations to further the mission of AET Tri & The Earth Ark Mission (TEAM). No goods or services are provided in exchange for these contributions.

  • Tax Status: The Earth Ark Mission (TEAM) is a registered U.S. nonprofit organization recognized as a tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and is also recognized under Section 508(c)(1)(A). Donations to TEAM are processed primarily through our 508(c)(1)(A) entity (EIN: 37-2231925). Contributions may also be directed to our 501(c)(3) entity (EIN: 41-4210394) upon request.

  • Donations made to either entity are tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law. Official tax receipts will be issued for all contributions. Where a donor receives goods or services in exchange for a contribution — such as event tickets, merchandise, or other benefits — only the portion of the contribution exceeding the fair market value of those goods or services is tax-deductible. Donors should consult their own tax advisors regarding the deductibility of any specific contribution.

  • Use of Funds
Contributions to TEAM support our charitable mission, including artifact preservation and conservation, scientific research and material analysis, educational programming, exhibitions and public access initiatives, and the general operating expenses required to advance this work. TEAM retains full discretion over the allocation of unrestricted donations. Restricted gifts will be applied to the designated purpose whenever practicable; if a designated program cannot be carried out, TEAM reserves the right to redirect such funds to a related charitable purpose consistent with our mission.

  • Refund Policy
Donations to TEAM are generally considered final and non-refundable. If a donation was made in error — for example, a duplicate transaction, an incorrect amount, or an unauthorized charge — please contact us within 30 days of the transaction at [info@aettri.life] and we will review the request in good faith. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Any tax receipt previously issued for a refunded donation will be voided.

  • Donor Privacy
TEAM is committed to protecting the privacy of our donors and supporters. We collect only the information necessary to process contributions, issue tax receipts, and communicate with you about our work. We do not sell, rent, trade, or share donor information with third parties for their marketing or solicitation purposes. Donor data is shared only with trusted service providers (such as payment processors and email platforms) strictly as needed to operate our programs, and only under appropriate confidentiality obligations. Donors may opt out of communications at any time by following the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us directly. For additional details, please see our Privacy Policy.
